SESAME STREET FOOD PLAY IS WHAT KIDS WANT

Northridge, CA - What Kids Want® (WKW), a leading U.S. toy maker, announces it is developing and distributing a line of Sesame Street food play toys with nonprofit educational organization, Sesame Workshop.

The product range features Sesame Street play food and tableware. Product will be creatively merchandised in cookie jars, large sets and on carded packaging.  Each package will include health tips from Sesame Workshop’s “Healthy Habits for Life” initiative.  “Healthy Habits for Life” is Sesame Workshop’s multi-year, content driven initiative to help young children and their caregivers establish an early foundation of healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

“Our Sesame Street food play range addresses the popularity of food play with the 2 and up crowd,” said Dave Schwartz, SVP, Marketing, WKW.  “Play tableware and pretend food featuring Elmo and other beloved Sesame Street characters will create role play fun right out of the box.”

The Sesame Street food play range from WKW will debut this fall at leading retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
